- I am a Black lesbian from the Mid-West who has grown so much in wisdom and knowledge over my life. I crave knowledge and insights. I have ah-ha moments frequently and wonder if anyone else has thought of it. Sometimes my moments lead to a place of frustration because the reality of my identity and my place in this world can get unbelievable. I try to remain hopeful. My wish for the world is that everyone can just "be," be Black, be heterosexual, be different...BE HAPPY as long as what you are doesn't hurt others (unless they like it).
